Overview. Welcome to Hadassah Greater Detroit, which includes members in Greater Detroit, Lansing, Ann Arbor, Kalamazoo, Toledo, Greater Pittsburgh and Greater Cleveland. We have 8,400 members, including a Nurses and Allied Health Professionals Council and an Attorneys and Judges Council.
The flagship of Hadassah, the Women's Zionist Organization of America, the two hospitals have 1,000 beds, 31 operating theaters, nine specially oriented intensive care units and five schools of allied medical professions, owned and operated in collaboration with the Hebrew University.
About the building. The 14-story Davidson Tower contains 500 beds, 20 operating rooms, 50 intensive care beds, the Heart Institute and the Department of Internal Medicine, all surgical and medical treatment divisions and all surgical, medical and cardiac intensive care units. Each floor houses two departments with one and two-bed rooms.
