  1. Some people might say Wigwam was a milestone in Finnish prog, but then the band is still in function after numerous and long lay-offs and umpteen changes in their line-up. Their first album in 1969 - Hard N'Horny - belonged to an era when adventurous rock was still a somewhat odd thing in Finland ...

  2. This radio show had traveled before that all around Finland, recorded live music and broadcast it few days later. Before Wigwam had mostly played cover songs in their live concerts, that was the way all the Finnish bands did in the sixties. But in N-klubi 4/5 of material was their own! 3. Wigwam reformed in the 1990s with the Pembroke-Rechardt-Groundstroem core intact, and has been active to the present.

  6. The recording of Hard 'N' Horny took far longer than expected, resulting in the group going way over their recording budget. Love Records, still in their early days, didn't have extra available cash to print the album covers, so the Wigwam band members elected to save the day by making hand drawn sleeves for the first pressing.

  7. Unfortunately to the non-Finnish listener, much of the dramatic effect of this track is lost in the Finnish narration. Guardian Angel, The Future has the band using English lyrics for the first time and has Gustavson toying a style very similar to what Traffic exploited, that of expanding their musical ideas based on a Rhythm & Blues rhythm. In ...
