Harry Hasso (born Karl Hartnagel; 24 July 1904 – 11 July 1984) was a Swedish actor, cinematographer and film director . Hasso was born in Frankenthal, Germany. He worked in Sweden, Germany and Italy and for a short time in Finland as a cameraman and film director and he also wrote some of the music and manuscripts for some of the films he made.

She was married in 1936 and adopted the last name of her husband, cinematographer and later director Harry Hasso. After a dozen Swedish films, Hasso moved to Hollywood in 1940 where her first screen appearance was an uncredited role in Journey for Margaret (1942).
