Feb 2, 2021 · Haruki Satomi has been appointed as the new CEO of Sega Sammy Holdings. He takes over from the corporation’s founder Hajime Satomi. Hajime Satomi will continue with the company as Chairman and Representative Director under the new CEO.
Haruki Satomi (里見 治紀) is the chief executive of Sega since April 2015. He is the son of Sega Sammy Holdings Chairman Hajime Satomi. He started at Sega at Sega of America being one of the chiefs of downloadable and mobile games. When he returned to Japan, he headed the reformed mobile division - Sega Networks.
