(June 9, 1911—March 2, 1999) Hawley Pratt was an American film director, animator, and illustrator. He is best known for his work during the heyday of Warner Bros. Cartoons and as the right-hand man of director Friz Freleng as a layout artist and later as a director.
Hawley Pratt (1911-1999) was a director and writer of animated shows and movies, such as The Super 6, Speedy Gonzales and The Pink Panther Show. He also created Speedy Gonzales and Chester Cheetah characters and was an avid golfer and an animal advocate.
