Hemoglobin. When I saw this movie on EBAY, while searching in the general category of horror, I noticed that Rutger Hauer was in the movie. I knew that even if it was an obscure movie, that it would be good. Turns out, it was great and suspenceful. It had a story to tell on the future of inbreeding. Really creepy.

At the beginning of a film a young couple, Kathleen (played by the gorgeous Kristin Lehmann) and John Strauss (Roy Dupuis) arrive by boat on an island.

When a couple come to a remote island off the coast of Maine to find his family, they soon find out that the town has few secrets burried under the cemetary. Centuries earlier a family of rich Dutch people called the VanDams lived there.
