The Pandoras were an American all-female garage punk band from Los Angeles, California, active from 1982 to 1991. The band is among the first handful of all-female rock bands to ever be signed. From the beginning, the band found a strong following in the Hollywood garage rock and Paisley Underground scene, making the gossip pages almost weekly.

Feb 1, 2018 · Two original Pandoras albums: It's About Time, and Stop Pretending, are among the classic alternative/garage rock albums of the eighties. It's instructive that the best songs on this record recycle tunes from Stop Pretending and an unreleased album (the demos of which are on the deluxe re-release of Stop Pretending).
