An historic Exclusive use, country house wedding venue in Nottinghamshire. Holme Pierrepont Hall is an exclusive use wedding venue, situated in a secluded 30 acre estate just a few minutes from Trent Bridge in Nottingham.
History. Free. Holme Pierrepont Hall is the earliest brick building in Nottinghamshire, built by Sir William Pierrepont in 1500 and still lived in by his descendants. The house is set in Parkland and Gardens, ten or so minutes from the middle of Nottingham, yet in a rural setting, as part of a hamlet that once was the centre of a large estate.
Holme Pierrepont Hall is the family home of the Brackenbury family, who are direct descendents of the Pierrepont Family who have lived on this site since 1280. The Tudor manor house on the estate today dates back to 1500, with later additions and alterations having been made to the hall since then.
