Brief Synopsis. In order to see his dying father, Homer, a mentally retarded dishwasher in Arizona, hitchhikes up to Oregon. Along the way he is picked up by Eddie, a vagabond, and the two quickly bond. However, Eddie begins taking things to an extreme, taking Homer to a brothel, burglarizing a store, and committ.
