Homo (from Latin homō 'man') is the genus that emerged in the (otherwise extinct) genus Australopithecus that encompasses the extant species Homo sapiens (modern humans), plus several extinct species classified as either ancestral to or closely related to modern humans (depending on the species), most notably Homo erectus and Homo neanderthalensis.
Homosexuality is romantic attraction, sexual attraction, or sexual behavior between members of the same sex or gender. As a sexual orientation, homosexuality is "an enduring pattern of emotional, romantic, and/or sexual attractions" to people of the same sex.
Homo ergaster. Homo erectus (meaning " upright man") is an extinct species of archaic human from the Pleistocene, with its earliest occurrence about 2 million years ago, and its specimens are among the first recognisable members of the genus Homo. Abel, 1920. A. neanderthalensis. Dawkins, 1926. Neanderthals ( / niˈændərˌtɑːl, neɪ -, - ˌθɑːl /, also Neandertals, Homo neanderthalensis or Homo sapiens neanderthalensis) are an extinct species or subspecies of archaic humans who lived in Eurasia until about 40,000 years ago.
The binomial name Homo sapiens was coined by Linnaeus, 1758. The Latin noun homō (genitive hominis) means "human being", while the participle sapiēns means "discerning, wise, sensible". The species was initially thought to have emerged from a predecessor within the genus Homo around 300,000 to 200,000 years ago.
Homo sapiens Human evolution is the evolutionary process that led to the emergence of anatomically modern humans, beginning with the evolutionary history of primates —in particular genus Homo —and leading to the emergence of Homo sapiens as a distinct species of the hominid family, which includes the great apes.
Homophobia encompasses a range of negative attitudes and feelings toward homosexuality or people who are identified or perceived as being lesbian, gay, bisexual or transgender (LGBT). It has been defined as contempt, prejudice, aversion, hatred or antipathy, may be based on irrational fear and ignorance, and is also related to religious beliefs.
Early Eurasian Homo sapiens fossils have been found in Israel and Greece, dated to 194,000–177,000 and 210,000 years old respectively. These fossils seem to represent failed dispersal attempts by early Homo sapiens, who were likely replaced by local Neanderthal populations.
Wikipedia. Because these are brand new finds, there is not yet consensus about these fossils. Some researchers want to call “Dragon Man” Homo longi (pronounced lóng, being Chinese for dragon), a new human species, and assert its features mean it is more closely related to modern humans than Neanderthals.
Both the director and screenwriter of Rebel without a Cause believed James Dean was exclusively gay. Even his close friend, Elizabeth Taylor, once said matter-of-factly that all her best friends had been gay, including Montgomery Cliff, Rock Hudson and the one and only Jimmy Dean. Here, then, is the alleged list of Dean’s conquests.
