Jun 14, 2019 · 5 years ago. Assuming you are using the "new" email layout as opposed to "classic" (see below) the stationary icon is in the toolbar at the bottom of the compose window. It's the one with a heart (just to the left of the emoji tool icon). You can tell if you are in "classic" if you see a square "Go" button near the top right of the mail window.
