Five white balls are drawn from a set of balls numbered 1 through 70; one gold Mega Ball is drawn from a set of balls numbered 1 through 25. You win if the numbers on one row of your ticket match the numbers of the balls drawn on that date. There are nine ways to win a prize, from $2 to the jackpot.

A player must choose the Megaplier option when they buy their Mega Millions ticket, and then the ticket must match one of the 9 Ways to Win (except the jackpot) before the multiplier takes effect. To play Mega Millions, pick up a playslip and select five main numbers between 1 and 70 and one Mega Ball number from 1 to 25. You can also add the supplementary Megaplier for an additional $1. If you want to enter Just the Jackpot, you need to use a Just the Jackpot playslip and select your preferred numbers.
