To speed up the process of getting to Seifer, try learning the moves of the enemy then you will have a better chance to dodge. Try leveling up to get more strength that way you can knock them out then get the orbs much quicker.

Sure it was an early block but it didn’t hinder the ability to block as seen with the reflect that showed as well as the prompt to dodge/counter.
