They sell beer $6, wine $6, pop and water (I don't remember the price of pop and water) and beverages can be taken into the theater area. You can pay cash for drinks or buy tickets if you need to use a credit card. They have handicap seating up front. There is an elevator in the building.

One of the classic beautiful theaters with a magical vibe too it. Situated on a hill Hoyt Sherman Place looks over downtown Des Moines from the NW side of downtown. I have only seen a couple shows here but both were amazing experiences. I saw Neko Case from the front row, and Lindsey Buckingham of Fleetwood Mac from about half way up the ramp.
