Synopsis. Tony, the son of Italian immigrants, works in a smoky steel mill in Gary, Indiana. He wins a company scholarship which will enable him to attend Yale college. Over the four years of his college career he learns about football, love, and class prejudice.

In Huddle (1932) it's Ramon Novarro, as a son of a immigrant, having a go at running the ball. I've seen this been done a lot better. I've seen this been done a lot better. Novarro shines in a few scenes, but while a solid youth cast it gets more muffled then the warming experience these student dramas usually goes.
He already knew how to fight, and doesn't seem to have accumulated too many career options - though, he is certainly better off with a Yale diploma.
