Though blind, the beautiful Durga (Amisha Patel) makes a living shaping clay statues with her widowed mother (Suhasini Mulay). She falls in love with Babu (Arjun Rampal), a young man who saves her life. Before the two can marry, another man kills both Babu and Durga's mother. Durga regains her sight through surgery, moves to Switzerland and marries the very rich Raj (Bobby Deol).
