State Park is a local favorite for diving, beach combing, hiking, boating and waterfront adventures. It’s an evergreen forest that crashes into the Salish Sea.
Illahee is a prime example of a typical Washington State Park. Not too big and offering limited trails, it is situated on the shores of Puget Sound and features very accessible water access with an easily walkable sandy beach at lower tides. Pros. Close to town. Scenic forest and water views. Several miles of walking opportunities.
