Errol Flynn deserves better than the film Phil has reviewed. I gather that the intention was to make the film in the style of Flynn's most successful movies such as "Robin Hood" and "Captain Blood". So far as I can recall the Director's comments, it was never intended to be a realistic portrayal of Flynn's escapades.
