When Zeb finds out about Ann's fiance Tom, he really gets mad, burns the doll, and beats it up, which makes Ann think she's losing her mind. Doris Wishman. Director, Screenplay. Before long, Zeb spies on Ann and Tom together. In a fit of jealous rage, he twists the doll's head off, killing Ann. Wishman pads the film with scenes of the aging Babs doing nude exercises, which is tantamount to seeing one's mother in a blue movie. C. Davis Smith's photography is passable, but the pacing is dreadful.
Indecent Desires reaches the highest Doris ever got to the melding of arthouse and grindhouse cinema. A cascade of magical rings, voodoo dolls, supernatural-sexual-assault, constant dressing and undressing and one of the most soul-rending conclusions I’ve seen since watching through Andy Milligan’s work.
