It's mostly a cult of personality around Caesar, he is the source and target of their worship and beliefs. The legion hasn't yet develop a culture and religious beliefs independent from him. We don't see the Legion cult acts as a standard religion. I don't think we see any common rituals, religious events or priestly caste.
It's why he has risen up over time, amassed a legion and formed this pseudo-religion. He knows apes wanted a symbol to believe in, so he perverts the historical figure they owed their freedom to.
