Michał Jacaszek (born 19 May 1972) is a Polish electroacoustic musician, often credited on albums simply as Jacaszek .
Michał Jacaszek, who performs and records under the moniker ‘Jacaszek’, has recorded several albums. He creates illustrative music for poetry and prose, radio plays, and theatre and film, and collaborates with musicians, choreographers, new media artists, and performers, as well as painters, poets, and writers.

Initially, his output simply felt cinematic by nature; densely detailed electroacoustic textures on releases like Lo-Fi Stories (2004), Treny (2008) and Glimmer (2011) evoked dimly-lit worlds within themselves, vignettes of the imagination.
