Jun 3, 2016 · Jack Ruby, killer of Lee Harvey Oswald, was born Jacob Rubenstein on March 25, 1911, in Chicago, Illinois, to Polish immigrants Joseph and Fannie (Rutkowski or Rokowsky) Rubenstein. Upon his parents' separation, he was placed in a foster home. At age sixteen he dropped out of school and became part of the street life on Chicago's West Side.
Ruby died in prison in 1967. On Sunday, November 24, at 11:21 a.m., as Oswald was being escorted to a car in the basement of Dallas Police headquarters for the transfer from the city jail to the county jail, he was shot by Dallas nightclub owner Jack Ruby. The shooting was broadcast live on television.

Dec 18, 2018 · Gubernatorial candidate Clyde Johnson was a very credible witness who met Clay Shaw, Jack Ruby and LEE Harvey Oswald in the summer of 1963. Johnson was scheduled to testify at Clay Shaw's trial in New Orleans, but was badly beaten and unable to appear. A short while later he was murdered by a shotgun blast.
