Feb 17, 2024 · Meyers, 27, had a solid rookie debut in 49 games in 2021 and emerged as the team’s starting center fielder in the playoffs that year before injuring his left shoulder making a catch in Game 4 of the ALDS. He had surgery to repair a torn labrum and didn’t return to the Astros until June 24, 2022, striking out 50 times in 150 plate appearances.
