  2. James Bradley (born May 4, 1954) is an American author from Antigo, Wisconsin, [1] specializing in historical nonfiction chronicling the Pacific theatre of World War II. His father, John Bradley, was involved in the first raising of the American flag on Mount Suribachi during the Battle of Iwo Jima in 1945. [2]
