Beautiful adaptation. Of course, the book is a million times better, but this adaptation was truly wonderful; great acting, beautiful soundtracks, and gorgeous cinematography. It's a darker-themed romance with a focus on Jane herself. Pretty appropriate for the most part, but it might be too serious or grown-up for younger children to understand.
Synopsis. In this 19th Century-set story, Jane Eyre suddenly flees Thornfield Hall, the vast and isolated estate where she works as a governess for Adèle Varens, a child under the custody of Thornfield's brooding master, Edward Rochester. The imposing residence - and Rochester's own imposing nature - have sorely tested her resilience.
Synopsis. After a bleak childhood, Jane Eyre goes out into the world to become a governess. As she lives happily in her new position at Thornfield Hall, she meet the dark, cold, and abrupt master of the house, Mr. Rochester. Jane and her employer grow close in friendship and she soon finds herself falling in love with him.
