Based in Warwick, Rhode Island, TAPS was founded in 1995 by Jason Hawes and Grant Wilson. In 2004, the organization itself became the subject of Ghost Hunters, a popular weekly American paranormal reality television series on the Syfy channel. The show ran for eleven seasons on Syfy in the US.
Jason is a New York Times best-selling author of six books in the paranormal genre, as well as the creator and co-host of the nationally syndicated radio show, “Beyond Reality Radio.” Additionally, he is known for his role in helping create the spin-off shows, “Ghost Hunters International” and “Ghost Hunters Academy.”
Jason Hawes was born on 27 December 1971 in Canandaigua, New York, USA. He is a producer and actor, known for Ghost Hunters (2004), Ghost Team (2016) and The Glowing (2007).
