    Jay Caputo (born 13 February 1969; age 55) is a stuntman and stunt actor who performed stunts in Star Trek Generations, Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, and Star Trek: Voyager. He received no credit for his television work.

    Caputo is the brother of stuntwoman and stunt actress Jennifer Caputo and specialized in gymnastic, ratchet, and wire stunts. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Minnesota, was chosen for the 1992 Gymnastic Olympic trials, and earned several medals and awards on many sport festivals. In 2001 he has founded the production company "Monkey Dream Films" which primarily produces short films.

    In 2004 he has been nominated for four Taurus World Stunt Awards: for best high work and for best work with a vehicle in Monkeybone, for best stunt by a stunt man for The Animal, and for best specialty stunt for Swordfish (with fellow stunt performers Chris Palermo, Tim Rigby, and Frank Lloyd).

    Caputo has doubled for stars such as David Faustino and Chris Kattan.
