James Howle "Jay" Lucas (born August 11, 1957) is an American politician and attorney. He served as a member of the South Carolina House of Representatives from the 65th District from 1999 to 2022. Lucas is a Republican. Lucas was elected Speaker of the House in December 2014 after the resignation of Bobby Harrell.
