Jeremy Shaffer Roenick (/ ˈ r oʊ n ɪ k / ROH-nik; born January 17, 1970) is an American former professional ice hockey player who played the majority of his career in the National Hockey League (NHL). He was drafted 8th overall in the 1988 NHL Entry Draft by the Chicago Blackhawks, for whom he played from 1988 to 1996.
