An interesting fact about Jersey City is that it is the oldest city in the US State of New Jersey, founded in 1630.
Jersey City is bordered by the Hudson River Waterfront overlooking all of Manhattan and features 30 miles of waterfront walkway with a multitude of restaurants and small attractions along the way, such as the well-known Colgate Clock, Powerhouse Arts district and the Newport Carousel and Ice Skating Rink, to name a few.
