Huffman graduated with a B.A. from Louisiana State University and later graduated with a J.D. from the South Texas School of Law. In addition to being a senator, Huffman is an attorney and has served as lead prosecutor in over 100 jury trials. Those trials include murders, sexual assaults and aggravated robberies.
