Joe Wiesenfeld was born on 12 May 1947 in Treysa, Schwalmstadt, Germany. He was a writer and producer, known for Princes in Exile (1990), Anne of Green Gables (1985) and St. Urbain's Horseman (2007). He was married to Jude Mann and Marilyn Magid. He died on 27 January 2019 in Palm Desert, California, USA.
