In 2019 Beilein left Michigan as the winningest men’s basketball coach in school history, and his 754 collegiate wins ranks twenty-second all time. In 2018 he was inducted into the Basketball Coaches Association of Michigan Hall of Fame and in 2022 he became a member of the National Collegiate Basketball Hall of Fame.
