John Clarke (April 14, 1931 – October 16, 2019) was an American actor. Clarke is recognized for originating and portraying Mickey Horton on the NBC soap opera Days of Our Lives for 39 years, beginning with the debut of the program in 1965, until his retirement in 2004.

Clarke and Dawe’s most recent segment, which aired on the ABC last Thursday, took on Scott Morrison’s preparations for the budget.

Oct 22, 2019 · The O.C. actor, best known for his role as Mickey Horton on Days of Our Lives, passed away peacefully from complications of pneumonia. He was 88 years old and had a long and varied career in film, theater and TV. He was predeceased by his daughter Heidi, who died in 1994 from a heart tumor.
