John Graham, 7th of Claverhouse, 1st Viscount Dundee (21 July 1648 – 27 July 1689) was a Scottish soldier and nobleman, a Tory and an Episcopalian. He was responsible for policing southwest Scotland during and after the religious unrest and rebellion of the late 17th century, and went on to lead the Jacobite rising of 1689 .

John Graham of Claverhouse, 1st viscount of Dundee (born 1649?—died July 17/18, 1689, Pass of Killiecrankie, Perth, Scot.) was a Scottish soldier, known as “Bonnie Dundee,” who in 1689 led an uprising in support of the deposed Roman Catholic monarch James II of Great Britain.

Politically, he allied with James, duke of York (later James II). After 1685 Claverhouse was made provost of Dundee and a viscount.
