From classically trained but forward-thinking bassist Jonas Tauber comes this album of free jazz recorded live at the Jazz de Opus club in Portland. Accompanying him are drummer William Thomas and pianist Doug Haning.
Tauber has already produced three CD's for Origin: Beautiful You with Gross and Mintz, Prime Numbers with Tauber, Doug Haning and William Thomas, and Queen Dynamo by Vlatkovich's group. And now he has released his own solo album, recorded live at Caf 26 in Schaffhausen.

That it why it is so wonderful that Seattle-based Origin Records is emerging as an American foil to the two great German labels.
