Well known as a biographer, critic, broadcaster and scholar, he is Regents Professor of Literature and Foundation Professor of Environmental Humanities in Global Futures, the School of Sustainability and the College of Liberal Arts at Arizona State University.
Jonathan Bate is a leading Shakespeare scholar, critic, broadcaster and author. He is Provost of Worcester College and Professor of English Literature at the University of Oxford, and a Fellow of the British Academy and the Royal Society of Literature. He has written and edited wide-ranging works of literary scholarship, criticism and biography, such as The Genius of Shakespeare, The Song of the Earth and Being Shakespeare.
