Jonathan Dayton (born July 7, 1957) and Valerie Faris (born October 20, 1958) are a duo of American directors and producers for film and music videos. They started their career directing videos for such artists as Red Hot Chili Peppers, R.E.M. and The Smashing Pumpkins.
