Current CIO Jonathan Hook will retire from the Weinberg Foundation effective August 31, 2022. He will be succeeded by David Gilmore, Deputy Chief Investment Officer. Mr. Gilmore will assume the role of chief investment officer effective September 1, 2022. The changes were announced in mid-November 2021.

Jonathan Hook was named the first Chief Investment Officer for the Harry and Jeanette Weinberg Foundation of Owings Mills, Maryland in May 2014. He is responsible for managing the foundation’s investment portfolio, which totals in excess of $2.6 Billion, and the first internal investment team at the foundation.
Jonathan D. Hook has been named vice president and chief investment officer for Ohio State, one of the nation's largest universities. In this newly created position, Hook will manage the university's $2.2 billion long-term investment pool which includes a $1.5 billion gifted endowment. He begins his new job on Aug. 1.
