Mar 13, 2002 · Von Sternberg fiddled with it for years, changing the title five times and in 1957 having his cameraman shoot some nude scenes which he spliced into the prints. Nothing helped. In 1959 he began teaching at UCLA and in 1965 published a marvelous autobiography, Fun in a Chinese Laundry .
