Mini Bio. David Light is best known for his Disney franchise ZOMBIES (which he co-created, executive produced, and co-wrote with his creative partner Joseph Raso). Zombies' message of inclusion and tolerance was recognized as a Humanitas Prize Finalist.
Joseph Raso was born and raised in Toronto. He studied literature at McGill University in Montreal, where he also wrote and produced several plays. He recently graduated with a M.F.A. film degree from Columbia University’s School of the Arts in New York City.
David Light & Joseph Raso. David Light and Joseph Raso first teamed up as writing partners in Columbia University's Graduate Film Division. They have since created, wrote and sold comedy pilots to NBC, SONY, ABC Family, Nickelodeon, Disney Channel and CBC.
