Kōnosuke Matsushita (松下 幸之助, Matsushita Kōnosuke, 27 November 1894 – 27 April 1989) was a Japanese industrialist who founded Panasonic, the largest Japanese consumer electronics company. Matsushita is referred to as the "God of Management" in Japan.

- He set up his company in the basement of his tenement. Matsushita left Osaka Electric Light Company in 1917 to set up his own company. To be precise, he had no capital, a formal education, or experience in the manufacturing industry.
- Matsushita was optimistic. After setting up his new company, Matsushita started making several samples for his product. He would usually introduce his product to wholesalers but he failed to make sales because he only operated on a small scale.
