Kōnosuke Uda (宇田 鋼之介 Uda Kōnosuke?) is a director of anime. [1] He directed several of the One Piece works created by Toei Animation, including the television series and the similarly titled films. Uda is also known to have directed episodes of the Sailor Moon series Bishoujo Senshi Sailor Moon in 1994 and a single episode in 1995.
Uda attended Tokyo Design Academy at Tokyo where he studied animation. Since then he has been working at Toei Animation directing animations including TV series and feature films. Some of Uda’s directed titles are: Sailor Moon , Ge-Ge-Ge no Kitaro , Young Kindaichi’s Case Book , Lovely Complex and Galaxy Express 999 Eternal Fantasy .
