    Kamala Harris is an American attorney and politician. She has been serving as the Junior Unite State Senator since 2017 for California. She has previously served as District Attorney of San Francisco and as the 32nd Attorney General of California.

    Her date of birth is October 20, 1964, and she was born in Oakland, California. Her birth name is Kamala Devi Harris. She raised and spent her childhood in her hometown. Her mothers name is Shyamala Gopalan Harris and her fathers name is Donald Harris.

    She started her career as a deputy district attorney from 1990 to 1998 in Alameda County, California. She began dating the California Speaker of the Assembly Willie Brown where she got the opportunity to meet many powerful personalities in California. She was recruited by Louise Renne in 2000, and she worked as chief of the Community and Neighbourhood Division.

    Kamala carried the San Francisco City Attorneys Division for the three years on Families and Children. She made history in 2003 as she was the first woman, black and south Asian to achieve the San Francisco district, attorney. After serving as a head, she became successful to arrest the criminal by more than a half.

    She is currently serving as U.S. Senator from California. She was also assigned to Committee on Intelligence, Committee of the Budget, Committee on Environmental and Public Works, Committee on Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs and Committee on the Judiciary.

    In early 2010, a lab technician named Deborah Madden, a drug lab technician was guilted for removing the cocaine from the evidence sample and her admission ended the polices lab testing unit and dismissed the pending drug case. It was claimed that the District Attorneys office knew the technicians evidence tampering. Also, San Francisco Examiner claimed that the District Attorneys Office already updated about the situation before the public was told of the controversy.
