Katherine Burton (born September 10, 1957) is an American actress, the daughter of actors Richard Burton and Sybil Christopher. On television, Burton received critical acclaim as Ellis Grey in the Shonda Rhimes drama series Grey's Anatomy, and as Vice President Sally Langston on Scandal.
Kate Burton is a Swiss-born Welsh-American actress who has appeared in stage, film and television. She is known for her roles in Big Trouble in Little China, Unfaithful, Grey's Anatomy and The First Lady, among others.
