Kaye Ballard (November 20, 1925 – January 21, 2019) [1] was an American actress, comedian, and singer. Early life. Ballard was born Catherine Gloria Balotta in Cleveland, Ohio, one of four children born to Italian immigrant parents, Lena (née Nacarato) and Vincenzo (later Vincent James) Balotta.
Kaye Ballard was a versatile actress, singer and comedian who performed in musicals, variety shows, movies and cabarets for over eight decades. She was known for her roles in The Girl Most Likely, Freaky Friday, The Mothers-In-Law and The Golden Apple, among others.
