Kevin Marshall Tate was born on October 6, 1954, in Los Angeles, California. His parents were Marshall and Geraldine Tate of Phoenix, Arizona, and he had one older brother, Stephen.
Tate was a child actor of television and film, known for 7 Faces of Dr. Lao (1964), Bullet for a Badman (1964) and My Three Sons (1960). He also appeared in The Virginian, Dragnet, Daniel Boone, Bewitched, The Andy Griffith Show, I Dream of Jeannie, The Legend of Jesse James, The Donna Reed Show, The Addams Family, Hazel, Bob Hope Presents the Chrysler Theatre, and The Fugitive.
He stopped acting in 1973 and dropped out of the public eye at the age of 19. Not much is known about what he did professionally after he quit acting.
Kevin Tate died on September 30, 1999, in Phoenix, Arizona, of undisclosed causes. He was 44.
