Graduated from Korean Academy of Film Arts. Kim Tae Yong co-directed Memento Mori, is considered to have made the highest artistic achievement. His several short films and two other feature films, Family Ties (2006) and Late Autumn (2010), are also garnered critical acclaim. His upcoming film is Wonderland.
His shorts including Night Bugs (2012) and Spring Fever (2013) received theatrical releases as omnibus films with other directors' works. His directorial feature debut Set Me Free (2014), critically acclaimed for its stable scriptwriting and direction, is based on his own story.
Kim Tae-yong (Korean: 김태용; born December 9, 1969) is a South Korean film director and screenwriter. After his feature directorial debut Memento Mori (1999), he helmed the critically-acclaimed Family Ties (2006), and the English-language remake Late Autumn (2010).
