Kira Powell’s “Caught In The Mix” is an autobiographical one-woman show about Kira, a mixed black and Latina woman, who grew up believing she was white. Kira takes us on a journey with her through her life as she struggles to accept her true identity.
ACTING. KIRA was cast by renowned casting director Mark Bennett in the 2018 sci-fi/horror film, “The Endless,” directed by Justin Benson and Aaron Moorhead (Moon Knight, Archive 81). “The Endless” debuted at the Tribeca Film Festival, where it received a nomination for best narrative feature.
She is excited to be moving back home to Louisville, and feels blessed to have the opportunity to provide care that is tailored to each patient’s stage of life. Dr. Powell is a partner at All Women OB/GYN. She received her undergraduate and Medical Degree from the Unversity of Louisville.
