    • Can't seem to get anything. As much as I want write good things about Kirkby Town Centre to be honest its getting harder ,Kirkby Market a shadow of its former self ,lots of shops but you can't get anything you want ,shoes for men ,non starter ,decent shirt, non starter ,getting a coat is a joke ,ended up jumping the train into town to get what I wanted ,deffo need some decent cloths shops needed here .
    • Part of the furniture. There are some shall we say pieces of street art in Kirkby ,most are strange but this one is pleasing on the eye ,it's called Edwards Elephant .
    • Touching. Located by the bus rank in Kirkby Town Centre is Kirkby War Memorial, a really touching war memorial for those local to this area who gave their lives in conflicts over the years, to be honest it surprised me how many names were on this war memorial, what made it even more touching was the fact it's still beautifully kept and there were garlands of poppy's on the monument, if you're in Kirkby Town Centre it's most definitely well worth checking out.
    • Picturesque. It's testament to the amount of rain that we get in the United Kingdom that quite tranquil little rivers such as the River Alt are swollen and periodically bursting their banks ,walking into work January afternoon I passed the River Alt that looked beautiful, as mentioned the river was running high ,made for some dramatic photos, if you're in Kirkby it's most definitely well worth checking out .
